Why We Opened?
Guarded Defense Co. was created from a very personal place. After living with PTSD and a heightened startle response, I understand what it feels like to want protection, but also know that a traditional lethal weapon is not the right fit for everyone.
Our goal is to give Spokane families a place to explore practical, less-lethal safety options in person. A place where you can hold items, ask questions, compare choices, and leave with more confidence instead of more fear.

Some safety tools are hard to understand from a picture online. At Guarded Defense Co., the goal is to let customers experience products in person. You will be able to compare size, weight, feel, function, and comfort level before deciding what is right for you.
This is not an online checkout store at this time. We are focused on in-person education, product fitting, and helping customers make informed choices.
Appointments, Demo Days & Grand Opening Coming Soon
Online appointment scheduling will be available soon for private product consultations and in-person safety tool guidance.
We are also planning hands-on demo days and a grand opening event with supervised Byrna launcher demonstrations, safe target practice, product education, opening specials, giveaways, and a casual community cookout.
